Fixed timed artificial insemination and early resynchronization of ovulation in different categories of ewes in grazing system: Response of multiparous, nulliparous, and lactating ewes during the breeding season

•Protocols for early resynchronization can be effectively used in multiparous ewes.•Inserting intravaginal sponges 12 days after insemination did not affect ewes’ pregnancy.•Nulliparous and multiparous ewes had similar results after resynchronization protocol.•Reproductive results were lower in postpartum ewes.•Resynchronization protocol could not overcome the results in postpartum lactating ewes.
