Abstract
Ti-based MOFs have large superficial area, ordered pores array, biocompatible metallic ions and offer better biocompatibility in contrast with other reported MOFs carriers, which makes it possible to be applied in the biomedical field. In this work, we fabricated a novel La3+ doped MIL spherical analogue nanoparticle and use it as an additives for composite coating on titanium implant, which exhibited desirable antibacterial property and corrosion resistance without damaging the biocompatibility. This newly synthesized MOF derivative material provides an option for the development of novel in vivo implant coatings.
