Microstructural and textural evolution of Al-4.5Mg-0.7Mn-0.2Sc alloys during hot rolling

•The texture of aluminum alloy is affected by recrystallization annealing process.•Dynamic recrystallization state was found to be significantly different.•The grain size has been significantly refined by a recrystallization annealing.•The orientation of rolled grains is basically the same as reconsolidated grains.
