The invention relates to a reaction device and a reaction method for producing aromatic nitrile by ammoxidation. A purpose of the invention is mainly to solve the problems of non-uniform distributionof multiple strands of materials, poor mixing effect and low yield in the engineering amplification process of the device. According to the technical scheme, C7-C8 aromatic hydrocarbon and a derivative thereof, ammonia gas and air are used as raw materials according to a molar ratio of 1:(1-10): 10-40), and contact a catalyst containing vanadium and chromium through a fluidized bed reactor (1) togenerate corresponding aromatic nitrile effluent under the conditions that a reaction temperature ranges from 350 DEG C to 480 DEG C and a pressure ranges from 0.05 MPa to 0.11 MPa; and the raw materials aromatic hydrocarbon/ammonia (13) and air (14) respectively enter the lower portion of the fluidized bed reactor through a reducing short pipe nozzle (10) on an aromatic hydrocarbon/ammonia distributor (4) and a necking reducing short pipe nozzle (11) on an air distribution plate (6). According to the technical scheme, the technical problem is well solved. The device and the method can be usedin production of aromatic nitrile by aromatic ammonia oxidation.
