Prepulse inhibition based grouping of rats and assessing differences in response to pharmacological agents

•Rats could be divided into groups with "low" and "high" inhibition according to prepulse inhibition (PPI) values.•Groups would give different responses to pharmacological agents.•It is possible to create a behavioral model by experimental grouping regarding PPI values.
