摘要
•Integrase strand transfer inhibitors (INSTIs) are becoming more common in first-line antiretroviral therapy (ART).•A limitation of INSTIs is potential cross-resistance due to mutations Q148H and R263K.•Despite evidence of emerging resistance to INSTIs, rates remain lower compared with other ART drug classes.•INSTIs have a future role in novel therapies to achieve the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goal.
