ISOMERIZATION FEATURE-BASED PURIFICATION METHOD OF PUNICALAGIN

The present invention relates to an isomerization feature-based purification and preparation method of punicalagin. The method uses a pomegranate peel extract as a raw material, avoids impurities contained in punicalagin on the basis of the structural characteristic of the punicalagin in the pomegranate peel extract having two mutually convertible isomers, and uses intermediate level preparative liquid chromatography to achieve acquisition of a large amount of punicalagin having a purity higher than 98% from a complex extract of pomegranate peel. The method is very simple, the obtained punicalagin has high purity and a large preparation quantity. The method has a strong reference value for the purification and preparation of compounds having isomerization features.
