Abstract
The invention discloses a method for identifying whether a plant sample to be tested originates from a SbSNAC1-382 event or a progeny of the event. The inventors of the invention transfer a SbSNAC1 gene into a genome of a zea mays inbred line Zheng 58 through an agrobacterium-mediated method to obtain a transgenic zea mays event SbSANC1-382, referred to as a SbSNAC1-382 event. The drought resistance identification shows that the drought resistance of the SbSNAC1-382 event is significantly higher than that of the zea mays inbred line Zheng 58, in addition, after testing, the T3 generation to T5generation SbSNAC1-382 events have genetic stability and can be inherited stably between different generations, and therefore, the SbSNAC1-382 event can enter commercial cultivation. The SbSNAC1-382event is preserved in the General Microbiology Center of the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (hereinafter referred to as CGMCC, address: No.3, No.1 West Beichen Road, ChaoyangDistrict, Beijing) on April 4, 2019, and the preservation number is CGMCC No.17493. The method for identifying whether the plant sample originated from the SbSNAC1-382 event or the progeny of the event provided by the invention can specifically detect the SbSNAC1-382 event and better supervise and manage the SbSNAC1-382 event; and the method has important application value.
