摘要
Methyl cellulose (MC) is well-known as a good candidate to serve as polymer host while maltodextrin (MX) is an interesting polymer to be explored in this field. MX-MC based electrolyte has the highest conductivity of (1.70 +/- 0.69) x 10(-5) S cm(-1) with 25 wt.% NH4Br. The electrolyte exhibits the Arrhenius behavior with E-a value of 0.36 eV. Dielectric analysis verifies the non-Debye behavior of MX-MC-NH4Br electrolytes. Thermogravimetric analysis reveals that the electrolytes are stable until similar to 220 degrees C. From linear sweep voltammetry result, S25 is electrochemically stable up to 1.22 V, which shows the potential for device applications.
