Synthesis, structure elucidation, biological activity, enzyme inhibition and molecular docking studies of new Schiff bases based on 5-nitroisatin-thiocarbohydrazone

•New Schiff bases bearing 5-nitroisatin-thiocarbohydrazone have been prepared.•The structures of all compounds have been elucidated by spectroscopic methods.•Total antioxidant capacity and antimicrobial activities of the compounds has been determined.•The enzyme inhibition potentials of synthesized compounds have been evaluated.•Molecular docking calculations have been performed.
