Abstract
The Cover Feature shows how, based on the distorted molecular structure of tris[4-(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)phenyl]amine (TEPA) found in the solid state, a new model for the structure of the dendritic polymer PTEPA has been proposed, which is consistent with microstructure investigations. The polymer has a distorted three-dimensional conformation with multiple twisted channels and pores that are narrowed and blocked by the bifurcation and distortion of PTEPA chains.
