Magnetosensitive Water‐Soluble Nanocomposite Based on Sodium Alginate and Fe2O3 Nanoparticles

Magnetic nanocomposite based on maghemite nanoparticles and a natural polysaccharide, sodium alginate, is synthesized. Nanocomposite is characterized by spectrophotometry, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and dynamic light scattering. The obtained composite demonstrates the high aggregative stability. An external magnetic field causes the nanocomposites to move in an aqueous dispersion.
