Resumimos los artículos más novedosos o importantes en el campo de la estimulación cardiaca aparecidos en los últimos 12 meses. Especialmente se comenta, por su importancia, la nueva guía de manejo y tratamiento del síncope de la Sociedad Europea de Cardiología, así como los últimos avances en los marcapasos sin cables, uso de la resonancia magnética en pacientes portadores de dispositivos cardiacos implantables o los avances más significativos en la terapia de resincronización cardiaca.A summary is presented of the most important articles in the field of cardiac pacing that have appeared in the last 12 months. Special mention is given, due to its importance, to the new guideline for management and treatment of syncope by the European Society of Cardiology, as well as the latest advances in leadless pacemakers, the use of magnetic resonance in patients with implantable cardiac devices or the most significant advances in cardiac resynchronisation therapy.
