Recent, Advanced Sample Pretreatments And Analytical Methods For Flavonoids Determination In Different Samples

Flavonoids are generalized, broad-spectrum, healthy substances that naturally exist in the plant kingdom. The great need for flavonoid consumption leads to finding new sample pretreatments and analytical methods for their determination at different sources and in continuous product development. Sample pretreatment is the stage that consumes more time and solvents, for this reason, innovative and environmentally friendly alternative methods to reduce analysis time and environmental pollution have been the main objective of the works that are carried out in recent years. This review addresses the analysis methodologies of flavonoids and their current sample pretreatment mentioning to the trend of its automation-based flow analysis techniques, including recent results and future approaches.(c) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
