Promoted production of hydrocarbons in the catalytic pyrolysis of rape straw over composite HZSM-5@MCM-41 catalysts

摘要
•Catalytic fast pyrolysis of rape straw over composite catalysts was investigated.•HZSM-5@MCM-41 (H@M) was synthesized by external recrystallization method.•H@M with THR of 1 exhibited a highest yield of hydrocarbons of 11.43 wt.%.•H@M presented less formation of hydrogen-deficient or graphite-like coke.•Compared with HZSM-5, a lower pyrolysis temperature (500 °C) was demanded for H@M.
