Abstract
With the rapid development of AC/DC power distribution network, DC microgrids will become an important part of the future power distribution network. The DC microgrid has a small coverage area and a small line impedance. When the bipolar short circuit occurs, the fault current can reach a rated operating current of more than ten times, causing a serious impact on the system. A fault current controller based on negative pressure source is proposed in this paper. With the Control Strategy proposed by this paper, the current controller can precisely control the fault current and improve the control effect during normal operation. And the operation effect is verified by simulation. The use of fault current controller will greatly improve the controllability of DC microgrid.
