Abstract
The increasing installed capacity of renewable energy such as wind power has put tremendous pressure on peak regulation of system. In order to promote wind power accommodation, a joint optimized peak regulation method for combined heat and power (CHP) units with heating storages and deep peak regulation is proposed in this paper, considering demand response. The power-generation side installs heat storage devices on CHP units, breaking the tradition of power determined by heat Also, the deep peak regulation technology of thermal power units is applied to increase the space for wind power accommodation. The load side considers demand response, and users are guided to actively optimize the load curve through peak regulation compensation incentives and time-of-use electricity prices, alleviating the phenomenon of anti-peak regulation of wind power. The joint optimization model aims to minimize the total dispatch cost of the system. Constraints on heating storages, costs of life loss of thermal power units and constraints on user satisfaction with electricity are all considered comprehensively. The model is solved by CPLEX. The results of the case study show that the proposed method can maximize the peak regulation effect of the system with the lowest dispatching cost while ensuring the user's power consumption satisfaction, and effectively reduce the wind power curtailment.
