摘要
In this study, injectable peptide hydrogels were designed and fabricated based on the crosslinking of peptides and hyaluronic acid (HA) by 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). An anticancer bioactive peptide (ACBP), plant peptide (PB), fishbone collagen (FBC), and bovine bone collagen (BBC) were incorporated as peptide sources to assess their characteristics. The peptide hydrogels form a new amide bond (-CONH) between the peptide and HA. The construct functional peptide hydrogels with anti-inflammatory and anti-biodegradation properties, while the ACBP-fabricated hydrogel may inhibit tumor growth in a tumor transplantation model in vivo for cancer therapy and skin tissue engineering.
