•A condensation database for five low GWP refrigerants was compiled.•In-tube superheated condensation of HFC/HFO refrigerant mixtures was investigated.•A new model to predict saturated and superheated condensation was introduced.•Single-phase heat transfer correlations were recommended in the subcooled region.
