Analysis of characteristics of the failure protection of the high voltage circuit breaker

In order to ensure the reliability of power supply, important electrical equipment should be equipped with failure protection, and the malfunction of the failure protection itself has caused great harm to the power supply of the power system. Therefore, it is necessary to study the action characteristics of the failure protection to facilitate the later research of special detection equipment to reduce the impact of the failure protection malfunction. This paper summarizes the current universal problems of failure protection and examines the circuit breaker failure start circuit in the case. After that, it summarizes the specific reasons of the failure protection malfunction through detailed analysis of the action characteristics of the circuit breaker failure protection and proposes a solution which provides a basis for further research.
