4-stage management of Peritoneal Malignant Mesothelioma, management of 7 cases at a Clinical Care Center for Peritoneal Neoplasms

Background: Mesothelioma of the peritoneum (PM) is a rare disease with high morbidity and mortality. Cytoreductive surgery plus hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS + HIPEC) has been considered as the core of its treatment. In our group, a 4-stage protocol has been proposed and we aim to evaluate morbidity, overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) associated with CRS + HIPEC in PM.
