Abstract
•Location of the sulfide phase does not affect coke formation on zeolitic catalysts.•Part of hydrogenation activity is recovered by the release of poisoned LAS.•Isomerization reaction shows 10 times greater intrinsic activity than hydrogenation reaction.•The dual-site closer proximity shows greater resistance to pyridine poisoning.•The dual-site closer proximity shows greater blockage of sulfide phase by coke.
