Analytical Model of Halbach Permanent Magnet Array with Rectangle Section and Trapezoid Section using Surface Current Method

This paper proposes Halbach permanent magnet array with rectangle section and trapezoid section. The magnetic field of the proposed Halbach permanent magnet array is studied according to the surface current method, which is related with the permanent magnet segment parameter. The analytic formula is acquired on the basis of superposition principle and coordinate transformation. Finally, the analytical model is proved to be accurate compared with the finite element model in Comsol, which is of vital importance for further research.
