通过功能目的论的视角,归纳出中药名命名的主要方式,以及英译中存在的4个方面的主要问题,即汉语拼音音译过多,一药多名、译文不统一,译名冗长、信息密度低,译文不知所云等,提出了中药名英译的策略及注意事项.
