蒿峪村位于阳城县东北十公里,九泉山下芦苇河东岸的一块河谷盆地内.早在隋唐时期就有先民在这里居住栖息.这片河谷曾经蒿草繁茂,因此得名蒿谷,村子遂称蒿谷里,清乾隆十七年改称蒿峪村.
