Abstract
镇江沿江地区松散层之下的一套砂泥岩系列的沉积岩,前人根据附近少量揭示基岩的钻孔和露头推测为上白垩统浦口组.通过揭示基岩的钻孔,岩性主要为火山碎屑岩,与下白垩统的岩性特征相符,所以将松散层之下的基岩重新定义为下白垩统上党组和葛村组.
