在四川省盐源县金河—树河地区开展了1∶5万高精度磁测,对磁测数据采用向上延拓、化极、小波断裂分析、2.5D人机交互反演等方法,进而分析不同磁场区的磁性特征,对区内的铁矿体、断裂构造和岩浆岩的磁性特征进行阐述和解释,提出了4个成矿远景区,认为区内依然存在不同类型铁矿资源的找矿潜力.
