"天马,常飞腾天都莲花诸峰";"康熙壬寅秋,慈光僧同客登文殊院,远望犀牛山峰顶有天马,银鬃金毛,四足皆捧以祥云,须臾跃过数十峰,每峰隔越数十丈,一跃便过".古代志书中描绘的黄山"天马",实际上就是我们今天所说的鬣羚(Capricornis sumatraensis Bechstein,1799).鬣羚,别名苏门羚,属偶蹄目(Artiodactyla)、牛科(Bovidae)、鬣羚属(Capricornis);国家Ⅱ级重点保护动物,<濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约>(CITES)将其列在附录Ⅰ中,世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)的<受胁物种红色名录>(Red List of Threatened Species)、<中国物种红色名录>和<中国濒危动物红皮书>将其列为易危级(VU).
