甘肃省天水市是碘缺乏病重病区,全市2区5县80%的乡镇均有发病.1984年达到基本控制碘缺乏病标准,1993年起在全市范围内普遍供应碘盐.为了评价全市碘缺乏病现状,于2002年10～12月在全市范围内抽取6所城市和农村小学进行儿童碘缺乏病调查.现将有关结果报告如下.
