王九峰为今孟河学派之滥觞,其辨治哮病有独到的体会.治病从核心痛机入手,提出“伏风”在哮病发生与发展过程中的重要作用.用药精当,重视扶正补肾,强调培中运土.发时治标、缓时治本,全程序贯,药养兼济,重视瘥后扶正补养,随机应变,法度合辙,为后世临床辨治哮病提供经验.
