胃肠功能损伤是脓毒症常见的并发症,是ICU患者致死的重要原因之一.中医外治法在治疗脓毒症胃肠功能损伤方面具有一定优势.文章通过查阅文献,对脓毒症胃肠功能障碍的病因病机、中医外治方法等方面进行总结,分别从针灸、穴位贴敷、灌肠、热熨疗法等方面的近况研究做一概述.中医外治法在临床治疗中确有疗效,操作简便、安全,具有良好的推广和研究价值.
