文章重在探析中医湿热病证的病因病机.从外感湿热、内伤湿热、内外相合、湿热相生四个方面探讨湿热病证的病因;从湿热之邪易导致脾胃功能、气血运行、水液代谢等方面失常探析湿热病证的病机.湿热病证发生与否,主要取决于正气之盛衰和湿热邪气之强弱两个方面.其中人体正气是内在决定因素,外界湿热之邪也为致病的一个重要方面.
