拟从认知语言学的角度对英语普通-医学两栖词汇意义构建的认知机制进行分析,认为英语普通-医学两栖词汇意义是为了满足医学交际需要,依靠隐喻性的词义派生模式而构建的,原义与衍生词义共存,形成了一词多义的英语普通-医学两栖词汇符号系统.
