牙周炎与2型糖尿病具有较为密切的关系.牙周基础治疗可有效预防、治疗慢性牙周炎.对于2型糖尿病伴牙周炎患者,通过牙周基础治疗后可有效缓解牙周炎发展进程,对于2型糖尿病患者的糖代谢也具有较为明显的改善作用,可有效降低高血糖引发的并发症.本文对牙周基础治疗2型糖尿病伴牙周炎患者治疗效果的研究进展予以综述.
