红叶是在元谋热区‘糯米香’芒果实生苗中发现的1株优秀变异株,并经多次嫁接繁育的株系.果皮浅褐红色,带黄色和少许绿色;果背肩向下圆出,果腹肩向下倾斜,果窝极浅或无,腹沟浅或不明显,果喙无,可食率73.17%.果肉金黄色,肉质细嫩,纤维中等,甜,可溶性固形物含量16.26%,硬度2.90 kg/cm2.中熟,较高产.
