益甜608是广西农业职业技术学院以HS493为母本, 以Y118为父本配制的甜玉米品种,2013年6月通过广西农作物品种委员会审定 (桂审玉2013016号),2015开始引入桂林市全州县、阳朔县和叠彩区等地种植,2015-2016年累计推广面积750 hm2,表现丰产性好,抗性强,外观品质好,深受当地老百姓欢迎.
