2014年1月19日甘肃省古浪县黄花滩养殖小区的羊开始出现发热、有浆液性或黏脓性鼻液、眼分泌物增多、咳嗽、腹泻、口吐白沫等症状,并不断死亡,截止1月24日,75％的羊只出现相关症状,其中严重的951只,病死133只.根据流行特点、临床症状、剖检变化、实验室检验和国家外来动物疫病诊断中心复检,最终确诊本次疫情为小反刍兽疫.
