在可乐猪中导入50％杜洛克血统,经过3个世代选育,毕节黑猪新母系在饲料利用率、瘦肉率及生长速度比纯种毕节黑猪均有大幅度提高.同时,毕节黑猪新品系亦保持了可乐猪性成熟早,妊娠期短及肉糯味香等特点,具有良好的生产性能与优良的肉质.
