猪圆环病毒2型(PCV-2)是猪圆环病毒(PCV)两种基因型中的一种,为小颗粒、无包膜、环状单股DNA病毒,其基因组大小为1 767 bp或1 768 bp,包含7个读码框架.G.M.Allan等[1]首先从患断奶仔猪多系统衰竭综合征(postweaning muhisystemic wasting syndrome,PMWS)的猪群中分离到PCV-2,现被证明其是引起PMWS的主要因素,同时还发现PCV-2与其他疾病相关,这些疾病包括肾病皮炎综合征、繁殖障碍、出生前心肌炎和弥散坏死性肺炎[2].
