金乌贼(Sepia esculenta)又名墨鱼、乌鱼,属软体动物门、头足纲、鞘亚纲、乌贼目、乌贼科、乌贼属,广泛分布于我国渤海、黄海、东海、南海以及日本列岛、菲律宾海域.乌贼曾与大黄鱼(Larimichthys crocea)、小黄鱼(Larimichthys polyactis、带鱼(Trichiurus lepturus)并称为我国传统四大海产,金乌贼是乌贼科中重要经济种类之一.它浑身足宝,个体80％可食用,肉质鲜、嫩、脆,营养丰富;内壳可入药,具有抑酸、止血等功能.
