再生稻是中稻收割后利用其稻桩上存活的休眠芽,使之发苗成穗,再收一季稻谷的作物.再生稻生产具有时间短、投资投劳少、经济效益高、米质优、口感比头季稻更好等优点.目前富顺县再生稻总产量已超过6万吨.中稻一再生稻生产已成为富顺县的一种比较稳固的稻田耕作制度.
