2013年龙山县农业局从湖南省水稻研究所引进高档优质稻“玉针香”,在该县不同海拔地区开展引种试验研究,结果表明:平均产量472.7 kg/666.67 m2.该品种综合性状较好,分蘖力较强,株型紧凑,茎秆粗壮,株高适中,剑叶长直叶角小,结实率高,抗倒伏、抗病性较强.该品种外观及内在品质优良,口味清香,整精米率较高.适合该县海拔650m以下稻瘟病轻发区作为中稻栽培.
