临沂中北部地区是高纯石英原料产地之一,该地区脉石英主要为变质热液型、岩浆热液型及伟晶岩型脉石英三类.矿体多呈复合透镜状、脉状,整体分布呈北西向条带展布.矿石自然类型主要为乳白色脉石英、含晶脉石英、砂糖状脉石英、水晶四类,矿石中杂质、包裹体较少,质量较好.综合分析区域地质背景、成矿地质条件等情况,该地区脉石英矿找矿前景较好,资源潜力较大.
