为减小护环破坏的可能性,提高转子运行的安全性,要求护环在不同的条件下运行.对于一般运行温度在100℃以下、强度不超过1300MPa的护环,P900则正是令人满意的材料.而在100℃以上运行,或强度超过1300MPa,P2000材料能确保在很差的运行条件和温度达到130℃时,发电机组不发生问题.
