On the Introduction of Culture into English Teaching

This paper briefly introduces the interrelation between culture and la nguage. In order to have a good command of a language, students should acquire i ts corresponding culture. The author discusses the necessity to introduce cultur e into English teaching. The main purpose is to develop the students' cross-cult ure communicative ability.
