1975年Awasthi证明硒是人体的必需微量元素之后,关于硒的生物学效应研究,有关硒在人体营养和健康方面的作用,有了更进一步的深入了解.已知缺硒与心血管病、肿瘤、肝脏疾病、恶性营养不良等多种疾病有关,在我国已证实和地方病(克山病、大骨节病)的发生有密切的关系.
