摘要
•Various beryllides are formed during HIP of the extruded Be-Ti composite.•TiBe12 has a fine grained microstructure with a mean grain size of 190 nm.•Beryllides have a very high microhardness up to 1680HV.•In the extruded composite, beryllium and titanium phases interact mainly in the temperature range of 670–740 °C.
