摘要
•A description of the epidemiology of long bone non-unions in Spain is reported.•The overall non-union rate has been stable from 2000 to 2015.•The non-union rate is higher in the tibia and in the femur, compared to the humerus.•The non-unions occur more frequently in females than in males in the femur and the humerus, and increase with the age.•The tibia non-unions are more frequent in males and younger age (up to 64 y.o.).
