Abstract
In order to ensure the reliability of $\\text{HPGe} \\gamma$ spectrometer, the influencing factors were analyzed and modeled, and the simulation software was designed for calculation. The obtained data were in good agreement with the experimental results. The results show that the most important factors affecting the measurement reliability of $\\text{HPGe} \\gamma$ spectrometer are the activity of scale source and the efficiency of total energy peak. It is necessary to select the scale source with small error and high activity in the actual measurement to reduce the artificial operation error and improve the measurement reliability. The simulation software can be used for the measurement and reliability evaluation of $\\text{HPGe} \\gamma$ spectrometer in laboratory, which can improve the measurement time.
