Abstract
In this study, CFRP and aluminum properties were investigated by carrying the static experiment on the shape-dependent bonding structure, and designed tapered double cantilever beam (TDCB) made of heterogeneous composites with the angle of inclination as a variable. The results showed that the maximum reaction force generated was the greatest when the slope angle was 8°. When the specimen is designed using heterogeneous composite materials, the maximum reaction force of the specimen with an inclination angle of 10° is slightly lower than that of a specimen with inclination angle of 8°. However, these results show that it is possible to obtain a design advantage by supplementing the shape. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the safe design of mechanical structures using composite materials and heterogeneous composites.
